This blog is dedicated to my three very busy boys - Walker, Hunter and Colter. I journal here, so I can remember all the fine details and memories made of what it is like to be your Mother.

Band of Brothers

There is something uniquely special about brothers. I have brothers, but when I look at my boys, I just see a special bond between them. Walker loves to play with Hunter. I guess I didn't think that they would get along as well as they do, but they really do enjoy playing together. Many times Walker will beg to wake up Hunter from his nap, so cute. "Please, Mom I really want to play with him". Just makes me smile. I love listening/watching their little adventures... swords and capes, rocks and dirt, Lego's and dinosaurs. I pray daily that God would bless their relationships together, keep them close and they would continue to love one another. Here are some cute pictures of the boys. Enjoy!

Look at me...

Swimming Lessons

For the past two weeks Walker and Hunter have been taking swimming lessons. We started last year at Billings Gymnastic School and I was so impressed by how much Walker learned that we have continued this summer.

Walker is a "Jellyfish" his class has 4 kids in it and they actually learn to swim. He is doing so well, just a huge improvement. He enjoys it just as much too.

Hunter is in "Swim Buddies" with Mom. Yes, Mom gets in and swims too! It has been so much fun. Hunter did great too. My sister Caroline did a couple classes with him too and that was so cute. He sure loves his Aunties.

I look forward to next summers classes too!

I'm 28!

It's my birthday!! I am 28 years young! I actually had to work today, which was fine. I get to work with some of my greatest friends. I just feel so blessed. I'm married, have three beautiful boys, a good job, awesome friends and a loving family. It feels good to celebrate all of those things. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Here are the beautiful flowers Jason gave me. So sweet!

Summer Vaction

Looks like we had fun??? We sure did !! We we took off to Missoula the week of the 4th, me and the three boys. We spent 8 days just hanging out with family. It was so fun. The boys of course loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa. We are so blessed to have such AWESOME grandparents. We played outside, went to the Carousel, out to eat, played with the dog and the highlight: Grandpa got a new kitty! Walker got to pick it out and it is the cutest little thing! Catsa...very original. But we love him.

The boys did so well. For the most part we stuck to the schedule and naps and bedtime were a breeze. Hunter even slept through the night all 7 nights. That wasn't happening at home. I think all that time with Grandpa wore that little guy out.

Colter is just a peach to take traveling. He is so laid back, as long as he is fed on schedule. He is just a happy little camper. I'm so so so blessed. We even scored a new playmat for Colee...he loves it and it was the best 30.OO dollars I've spent on a toy. Hours of entertainment, I'm glad he like it!

Hunter, well he just loves Grandpa. He even teases Grandma about it. I told Grandpa he knew how I felt, he couldn't pee alone. Hunter just wants to be EVERYWHERE Grandpa was. If he was changing sprinkler pipe, Hunter was out with him. It so sweet to see them together.

Walker, he had a blast! Swimming, playing, playing with Missy Girl (the dog) watching cable TV (we get PBS at home) and the best part....Catsa. He sure loves his kitty.

It was a great getaway, coming home was nice too. We missed Daddy.

Colter 6 Months

6 Months Old!

When I sit and think about how much time has gone by, that my baby will really only be a baby for just a short time longer, it makes me a little sad. I just love babies! I love holding them, rocking them, feeding them, bathing them, smelling them, dressing them, shopping for them, pretty much I love it all. I feel so fortunate because I really have enjoyed Colter, don't get me wrong I loved Walker and Hunter too, it's just that Colter is so content and happy and such a low maintenance baby that I feel like I have all the time in the world to just cuddle and love on him and it's not out of necessity, I can because I just want to.

Colter is now a whopping 16lbs 6oz and he is 24 inches long. He is rolling over from tummy to back consistently and almost rolls from back to tummy. He really does not like "tummy time" so it is hard to get him to roll over to his tummy. He loves his Baby Einstein Play mat, he just laughs and shakes things. He grasps his toys well, he will reach for an object if he wants it. He chews on his fist/fingers. Big drooler. Still no teeth. He sleeps GREAT, he takes 2 naps a day. He has not eaten a thing for me, we've just tried cereal and he was not having it. So, his little chubby face tells me he is growing just fine, he will eat soon enough, I'm in no hurry.

Walker and Hunter are wonderful to Colter. They love to make him laugh, they are such good brothers, makes me a proud Momma!

Blue eyed boy

My new favorite toy.

I just love his smiles.

Happy, healthy baby.

Happy Birthday Hunter!

My sweet baby boy turns two today. I just can't believe how fast it has gone. He is growing up before our eyes. I just love him to pieces. Here is a little bit about my favorite two year old boy:

He weighs 27 lbs. Hey is 33 inches tall, his vocabulary doubles daily. He can say lots of words, Mama, Daddy, Hungry, Amen, Please, Milk, he calls Walker "Bro Bro" he loves his baby brother, Colter and is surprisingly pretty gentle with him. He loves to play outside, read books, and he is the best eater in the house. Some of his favorites are green beans, yogurt and oat momo (oatmeal). He is pretty friendly and not too shy, he smiles lots, loves to give hugs and kisses. He is a binky baby, usually only at night though, we are waiting until after his adenoid surgery and tubes in his ears (August 17th) before we take it away. He is so precious and we love him SO much! Hunter you are such a beautiful blessing. Mommy loves you...my little troublemaker.

Colter 5 Months

Colter is 5 months old! I can't believe how fast he is growing. He is just the most happy, laid back little man. He is close to 16 pounds now, he laughs and smiles. He is still sleeping through the night (wahoo) and eats about every 3-4 hours. I have not tried any solids (cereal), his brothers did not seem interested in food AT ALL until about 6 months. So, I am just waiting. I really am hoping to make most of Colter's baby food. First, because I just want to try it, and second I'd like for him to eat healthy organic foods. We will see how it goes - if I hate it. Well there is always Gerber. Colter has his 6 month check coming up here next month so I will have all his "stats" then.

I love this little elephant outfit..one of my favs!

He isn't too WILD...yet!
