It was time... for another Girls Night Out! I decided last week that we needed an impromptu dinner. Something to dress up and get out of the house for. So a bunch of girls that I work with met up at Ciao Mambo and enjoyed some yummy dinner, great drinks and even better company. 

I am so blessed to work with such amazing women. We all pretty much love each other and have a great time together, even if it's at work. Here's to more Girls Nights in the future!!

We have a writer...

Hunter wrote his name all by himself this morning. I am such a proud Mama! I can't believe that in a few short months he will be starting kindergarten. I am so excited for him and I know that he will love school, just as he already loves preschool. My babies are growing up so fast, I just want to soak it all in and love them the best I can.

Indoor Therapy

Some days you just have to get out of the house. The weather hasn't been conducive to my very active 3 and 4 year old. So we took a trip to the indoor play land at the mall. It isn't much - but it will certainly do. The boys really do enjoy playing and running off some of that energy. Hunter and Colter really are the best of friends and so fun to be around. I snapped a few shots of them doing their thing. I love those kids...

Cookie Love

 The boys and I made Valentine's cookies and they sure didn't last long in this house. I sometimes think I have more fun planning these little projects then actually executing them. Minus the spirinkes all.over.the.floor. it was a nicely managed chaotic mess. It's always worth it in the end when you have some yummy treats.

Grandma and Grandpa Come for a Visit

We had a great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. I wish I would have taken some more pictures, but we were so busy playing and shopping it didn't happen. As you can see we hit up Chuck E. Cheese, that is always a BIG hit. We spent a lot of time shopping and eating out and really just enjoying being together.

Grandpa is Mr. Fix It so I had a couple of smaller...ish projects for him..... THANK YOU Grandpa! 

Grandpa brought his toolboxes and the boys were in heaven. It's not a very good quality picture, but it is sweet. Hunter and Colter really never left Grandpa alone.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful family!

Happy Birthday, Coley!

Dear Colter,

Today you turn 3 years old. It has been the fastest three years of my life so far.  You have brought such joy to our family. You are such a positive,  happy addition to our family.  You have grown so much this past year. Here is a little about you:

• You wear size 3T tops and bottoms
• Size 7 toddler shoes
• you weigh 30 pounds
• You like to get your haircut
• You hate hats cause they're "itchy"
• You have little interest in the potty
• You do have an interest in Superman underwear and ask when you can have some
• You still love your "binky"
• You sleep from 7:30pm to 7:30am
• You nap from 1pm to 3pm daily
• You sleep with little plastic dinosaurs
• You LOVE to take baths
• I think you purposely make a mess when you eat, just to take a bath
• You can sing the whole Veggie Tales intro song
• You love your brothers and follow either one of them around wherever they go
• Every time you pray you are thankful for the school bus
• When you are talking to me every sentence ends with the word Mama
• You love to eat and you tell me you are hungry every 20 minutes - literally
• You asked to eat fruit snacks about 10 times a day
• You hate to wear pajamas, you always ask to "get dressed" which means wearing jeans and a t-shirt, so you are ready to go in the event I'm going somewhere - you do not want to be left.
• We've watched Finding Nemo at your request, I'm sure over 300 times
• You love to go to the theater, and you have to have popcorn. your OWN popcorn
• You hate getting your temperature taken
• You've had 3 ear infections :(
• You love to be read to

It has been such a blessing to raise you these past three years. I look forward to watching you grow, reading more bedtime stories,  cooking endless meals and celebrating many more birthdays. You are treasured little guy.
