This blog is dedicated to my three very busy boys - Walker, Hunter and Colter. I journal here, so I can remember all the fine details and memories made of what it is like to be your Mother.

Christmas 2012

A perfect day spent with family. We had a wonderful Christmas. Despite the flu bug floating around our house, everyone seemed to have one day of health. I was so thankful. The kids slept in 'till 8am, which was WONDERFUL. First thing on every boys mind was, opening presents. So we gathered around - I had separated the boys gifts into piles, decreasing the "dog pile" that happens :) Each little guy opened a gift one at a time, they were so good, even being patient. God is so good. When we were all done, I couldn't help but think how blessed we really are.

Hope you had a very Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Eve 2012

So unfortunately for us - the "sickness" had invaded our home by Christmas Eve. Poor Walker was on day 3 of not feeling well. Colter was sick all night and was feeling puny. We decided it was best to stay home from Christmas Eve service, but I was a little sad. It is one of my most favorite services of the year. I love the candle light and all the songs that truly remind us of the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Savior.

 2012 Merry Christmas Eve!!
Walker 9, Hunter 4, and Colter 2

Colter was so excited that it snowed. He wanted to go outside and play despite having a fever and feeling crummy. It sure lifted his spirits to see all the snow falling.

I love to organize the presents, the night before Christmas, it prevents mad chaos in the morning.

My coat hook doubled as a stalking holder....

The boys opened their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Schwaderer on Christmas Eve.

Colter loving his Spiderman 4-Wheeler!

Potty Time

Colter has had little to no interest in potty training. But I have been encouraging him, most often right before his bath. Success! Even if it was a one time deal....it's a sure start. And as you can see, he sure was proud!

Christmas Lights

Hunter goes to preschool at the YMCA and every year they offer a fun evening filled with cookies and hot cocoa, then we pile into a bus, sing Christmas caroles and are chauffeured around town to look at Christmas lights. The boys had such a great time and Jason and I did too.

Martha Stewart...not so much.

So, I was trying to be crafty, you know make memories :) So, the kids and I painted ornaments. They actually turned out pretty cute - and more importantly, I think they has a good time.

Fa la la la la, la la la la

Walker had a Christmas program this year at school. I love going to school programs. Unfortunately, I did not get very good pictures, but I could not be too picky - it was a packed house. The kids sang their little hearts out.

Walker is smack in the middle. I missed getting a picture of him with his Elf hat on :)

Walker's Bowling Birthday Party

For Walker's 9th birthday we had an awesome day. Started out with cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then he could not wait one second longer, he had to open his gifts right away that morning. To his surprise he got a new PHONE! He was so excited, it was so fun to watch his face as he opened it up.

This year Walker decided to have a bowling party. Uncle David was in town and we had a great time. After bowling we went to Fuddrucker's for dinner.

Yummo! Ice Cream Cake!!!

We love you, Walker!!!
